tony gonzalez-5-1024x1024Anthony David Gonzalez was conceived in Torrance on February 27th the year 1976. He was born in the southern part of California. He attended Huntington Beach High School and was a star football and basketball player. Gonzalez excelled at these games at University of California, Berkeley. He played a key role in leading the team's football team to 1996 Aloha Bowl. There, Gonzalez set a record in the school for receptions with nine, and beat it. A few months later Gonzalez helped lead the basketball team to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA basketball tournament. After graduating from high school in 1997, he was selected for the NFL Draft. Gonzalez was chosen as the 13th overall choice by the Kansas City Chiefs. Gonzalez played for the Chiefs from 1997 to 2008. Gonzalez was traded to the Atlanta Falcons. He didn't catch fewer than 59 passes during Gonzalez's second NFL season.
