Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to rise from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used the superior skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was unable to put on an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the second. Her dominance continued and she got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and earned a reward for her performance during the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 at ESPN. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight.
